 "When we first took our dog Flecha to a local kennel she came back shaking and disturbed by her experience. Thinking it was just first-time jitters we used the same local kennel once more and got the same result; she was shaking, had diarrhea and took at least a day to get back to normal.

This time we took her to A fox and Hounds Pet Care and the difference was immediately obvious. It looks nothing like a traditional kennel facility of concrete floors and cages, it is more like an open-plan childrens day-care, complete with toys and outside play area. They actually play with the dogs during the day, so they are not just locked up in a cage until they are walked (if they are) as in our first choice.

When we picked Flecha up after 10 days (the longest we had ever left her) she was in great spirits and needed no rehabilitation. Robin and her crew of dog-lovers were so accommodating and loving to our dog that we can unreservedly recommend their services. We will definitely be using A Fox and Hounds pet care whenever we need to go away again."

 "When I leave Rocky with Robin and the rest of the staff at A Fox and Hounds pet care it feels like I’m leaving him with family. That is the level of love and care they give him every time he runs through the door. 

At home Rocky is my shadow he is so attached to me, but when we pull up and he sees we’re at daycare he leaps out of the car, runs inside (wagging not only his tail but his whole body he’s so excited) and does not look back.

I couldn’t ask for better care for him!
