Meet our Team

Jen
Jen has been grooming in the Weymouth area for over 5 years.  She is able to groom all breeds and temperaments, with extreme love and patience. In addition to being a groomer, she has managed pet shops, as well as run a daycare.  Jen has studied, and has a great deal of knowledge in Dog Behavior, which comes in handy while grooming. Her loyal following not only admire her skills, but appreciate the love she has for each dog.

Although Jen has 2 cats of her own, she will tell you that she has many dogs because she has come to love her clients as if they were her own.

Mandy
Mandy was recently promoted to Assistant Office Manager and has been working with animals for close to 10 years and has experience as a Vet’s Assistant, Pet Activity Supervisor, and a Bather/Groomer’s Assistant.  She has been caring for our customers since May 2010.

Some of her volunteer experience includes assisting in educating young adolescents about the responsibility of owning and caring for horses at a Riding School as well as assisting Vets and Vet Techs with educating visitors about wildlife and their habitats at a Wildlife Center.

Patty
Patty is a Certified Animal Control Officer in the state of Massachusetts.  She was employed as the ACO for the town of Duxbury prior to moving to Sydney, Australia with her family.  In Australia, Patty volunteered at the Sydney Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Center coordinating and partaking in rescues of various wildlife.  She specialized in rescuing and caring for Australia's flying foxes (large bats).  After transferring from Australia to Singapore, she became a volunteer member of the Singapore Dog Rescue.

Patty has since returned to Duxbury where she lives with her husband, three daughters and two dogs.  She has been a Pet Care Technician with us since November 2010.

Taryn
Taryn graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural High School in 2008 having majored in Equine studies. She also took canine classes in kennel management, grooming, showmanship, and obedience. It was in high school that she was first introduced to the idea of equine massage therapy. After doing a bit of research she then decided to further her education and attended Bancroft School of Massage Therapy where she obtained a Certificate as an Equine Massage Therapist.  She is hoping to branch out and practice the art of Dog Massage at A Fox & Hounds where she has been employed as a Pet Care Technician since October 2010.

Taryn owns two horses, a Puggle, and two mixed breeds and works at a barn in her spare time.

Viktoria
Viktoria is a canine-loving 16 year-old who lives in Hingham.  Viktoria is a high-honors student at NCAHS (Norfolk County Agricultural High School) and has experiences working with, training, and showing dogs.

Viktoria is a member of the Cave Canem 4-H dog club - a youth club centered around dog training and competes in off-leash obedience and conformation.  She and her Labradors are members of the AKC's junior association.  In her spare time she bakes home-made dog treats that are gluten-free, vegetarian, and all-natural or organic.
